Research
The Institute is committed to participating
in cutting edge research and to sharing knowledge with our peers.
Recently, we concluded a clinical evaluation and members of our
practice published a landmark article in the International Journal
of Oral and Maxillofacial Implants on immediately loading implants
with almost 100% success in certain case types.
The Institute is the first center
in the United States to be selected to evaluate and refine the use
of a new image
guided navigation system that enables precise placement of implant
posts consistent with a 3-dimensinal digital treatment plan.
We continue to conduct clinical studies on these and other new
applications.
Education and Training
To actively support our commitment to education and training, the
Institute supports several study clubs,
including P.R.I.M.E.® (Periodontal
and Restorative Implant Methods for Excellence) in Boca Raton, and
P.E.R.I.O. (Periodontal, Endodontic, Restorative, Implant and Orthodontic)
in West Palm Beach, as well as clubs catering to foreign dentists.
The Institute is certified by the state of Florida and the Academy
of General Dentistry as a continuing education provider.
The recently publicized breakthrough represented by “immediate
loading” - which predictably reduces treatment time for
implant dentistry – is making implants more accessible and
desirable to the public than ever before. We are experiencing a
significant increase in interest in implants as a preferred treatment
option.
The profession is responding in kind. Since publication of the
JOMI article, the Institute has been
approached by a number of dentists requesting a training seminar
on the techniques, applications and patient management aspects of
our TeethToday® immediate load dental implant procedure.
In response to these requests, plans are underway to offer hands-on
mini courses through our study club,
P.R.I.M.E.® The Institute makes these sessions available
to you and your staff because we are committed to spreading the
word about the efficacy of immediate load implants. Response to
this procedure from patients has been consistently gratifying, resulting
in a marked increase in patient-to-patient referrals.

Our doctors are invited to present at numerous professional meetings
in the United States and in many foreign countries, including the
United Kingdom, Switzerland, Germany, Austria, Italy, Cyprus, Mexico,
Venezuela, Brazil, Turks & Caicos, and Canada.
In addition, several of us are responsible for teaching and administering
the post-doctoral residency program in Periodontics at Nova Southeastern
University, Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.
Many of our support team members teach continuing education courses
to the profession and perform outside consulting in their particular
specialties.
