For over 40 years, the Florida Institute for Periodontics &
Dental Implants has provided quality dental care to the residents
of South Florida. The Institute is committed to offering our patients
the most advanced services using the latest proven technological
developments.
Dr. Jeffrey
Ganeles joined the Institute in 1990. There are now 6
doctors on staff at the Institute who perform more than 4000
surgical procedures annually.
We know there is more to good dental care than just the doctor.
The support staff and the facility make important contributions
to each patient’s sense of comfort and well being. We place
great value on your entire experience in dealing with our practice
- from the first contact through your treatment and over time.
We understand that you may feel anxious when you are “going
to the dentist.” Every person on our staff is committed
to making your experience with us as easy, secure and relaxed
as possible.
We are well known for our respectful care of individuals who
experience fear, panic or avoidance when they consider taking
care of their dental needs. Feel free to raise this concern when
you call so we can accommodate you in a pleasant and non-threatening
manner. Millions of individuals have long and difficult past experiences
with going (or not going) to the dentist. We specialize in caring
for these men and women because we truly believe everyone deserves
to have good teeth and a feeling of confidence about their appearance.
This philosophy is reflected in the design of the Institute's
Boca Raton office. The reception area has wood floors, relaxed,
comfortable furniture and a calming decor-- all designed to emote
warmth and familiarity. Visitors can surf the web or check e-mail
on the reception area desktop computers. A cappuccino machine
provides refreshment while satellite TV entertains. An ample supply
of current magazines is always there for your enjoyment.
The Institute has additional offices in West
Palm Beach, Lighthouse Point and Wellington.
Of course, each of our locations meets the highest safety, health
and sanitary standards for dental offices.
Referrals
We're always happy to meet new patients. It gives us great satisfaction
to know that general dentists locally and around the country believe
in our services enough to recommend us. But it is truly special
to know that our patients feel that way too! Thank you for your
trust and for introducing us to your friends.
Getting Started - The First Visit
– Your Private Consultation
If you are interested in new permanent teeth, we offer a TeethToday®
consultation to all prospective new patients. During the consultation,
we will discuss your cosmetic options for creating the smile you've
always wanted. At the time of your appointment, your mouth will
be gently and thoroughly examined. This process will include a
detailed examination of the teeth, soft tissue, supporting structural
alignment, bite and more. If possible, we will review current
x-rays. All information that we obtain will be carefully evaluated
so we can accurately assess your dental needs and discuss them
with you. Before you schedule an appointment for yourself, you
may have a question or two you’d like to ask us about. Please
feel free to email us. Click
here to contact us.
Dental Evaluation and Plan for Treatment
At your consultation appointment, a specially trained Director
of Professional Services (DPS) and your doctor will provide you
with as much time as you want to explain the procedure and to
answer all of your questions. Our DPS’s are there specifically
to make sure that both our consultation and regular patients get
all of their questions answered, have their specific needs accommodated
and have assurance that someone is there for them.
Immediate needs, as well as long-term objectives will be considered.
Again, our recommendations will be based on the goal of your receiving
new permanent real teeth that allow you to walk out of the office
looking great, able to eat properly and to go on with your life
with confidence once again! All of this happens within 24 hours
of you receiving your TeethToday® implants!
This is why our TeethToday® patients are
so thrilled. Click here

If you choose to proceed, we will take other appropriate records
if necessary. As noted above, the doctors and the Institute’s
staff want to do everything to make your experience as comfortable,
easy and relaxed as possible.
Financial Arrangements
Payment is expected at the time services are performed. Nonetheless,
we will be sensitive to your financial circumstances within the
framework of sound business practices. We accept cash, checks,
Visa, MasterCard and American Express. When extensive dental care
is necessary or when dental insurance is involved, financial arrangements
can be made with our staff. Please contact a Director of Professional
Services to inquire about our financing plans. Interest-free
financing is available for qualified applicants.
Company Flex or Benefit Plans
Your company may offer a dental spending account, which allows
you to set aside pre-tax dollars to pay for your dental expenses.
Please contact your employer for more details if this option appeals
to you.
A Word About Dental Insurance
We are happy to assist you in preparing all of the necessary
forms for this important benefit. However, we remind you that
your policy is an agreement between you and your insurance company,
not between your insurance company and our office.
We can make no guarantee of any estimated coverage, but we'll
do our best to see that you receive your maximum benefits. Please
keep in mind that you are responsible for your total obligation
should your insurance benefits result in less coverage than anticipated.
If you would like to know what your expected coverage would be,
we will submit a pre-treatment estimate. Your insurer will generally
send a detailed response within 4-6 weeks.
Esthetic Dentistry and Insurance
Esthetic procedures are generally not covered by most dental
insurance policies. However, partial benefits are often available
if the teeth are broken or have previous dental fillings, bonding
or crowns.
