A graduate of Cornell University and Boston University’s
Goldman School of Graduate Dentistry, he completed his general practice
residency at the University of Pennsylvania Hospital and his specialty
training at the University of Pennsylvania College of Dental Medicine.
He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology, a Fellow
of the American College of Dentists (FACD) and, at the age of 39,
Dr. Ganeles was selected to become a member of the renowned Swiss-based
International Team for Implantology (ITI). ITI is a non-profit research
and educational resource center that is a collaboration of dedicated
scientists and practitioners who are on the cutting edge of scientific
development for implant dentistry worldwide.
Dr. Ganeles is a frequent lecturer for local, national and international
groups, including the American Academy of Periodontology (AAP),
the American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID), the Academy of
Osseointegration (AO), American Society of Prosthodontics, International
Team for Implantology (a world educational research group) and the
Straumann World Symposium.
Dr. Ganeles has authored or co-authored numerous articles in the
fields of implant dentistry and periodontics for such peer review
publications as the International Journal of Oral & Maxillofacial
Implants, the International Journal of Periodontics & Restorative
Dentistry, the Journal of Periodontology, Dental Economics
and other professional publications. In addition, he was an author
of the consensus report on immediately loaded dental implants issued
by a select group of internationally recognized implant specialists.
Dr. Ganeles was responsible for the critical data that resulted
in a major implant manufacturer obtaining FDA clearance to use their
unique implants for the immediate load procedure.
Dr. Ganeles is in full-time
practice with The Florida Institute for Periodontics & Dental
Implants in Boca Raton, Florida where he leads the Institute’s
hugely successful implant team of specialists.
Since 1997, Dr. Ganeles has served on the faculty of Nova Southeastern
University’s College of Dental Medicine as an Adjunct Associate
Professor in the Department of Periodontics. He is responsible for
providing clinical instruction to residents in all areas of periodontics
and implant dentistry.
Born in Mountain Home, Idaho, and raised in New York, Dr. Ganeles
and his family reside in Boca Raton, Florida.

Marvin
M. Rosenberg, D.D.S.
Dr. Marvin Rosenberg founded the Florida Institute for Periodontics
and Dental Implants in 1960. Dr. Rosenberg received his dental degree
from New York University's College of Dentistry and his certificate
in Periodontics from the combined program of the University of Pennsylvania
and Boston University Graduate Schools of Dentistry. During his
residency, Dr. Rosenberg was the recipient of two research fellowships
from the National Institutes of Health.
Dr. Rosenberg is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology
and a Fellow of both the American College of Dentists and the International
College of Dentists. In addition to being in private practice in
West Palm Beach and Boca Raton, Florida, Dr. Rosenberg is Associate
Professor and the Founding Director of the Advanced Education Graduate
Program in Periodontics at Nova Southeastern University, College
of Dental Medicine, Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He was also a visiting
Associate Professor at Boston University Graduate School of Dentistry
and Adjunct Associate Professor of Periodontics at the University
of Pennsylvania’s School of Dental Medicine.
Dr. Rosenberg serves as a consultant for the United States Army
Periodontal Residency Program, Fort Gordon, Georgia. He is an internationally
recognized clinician, educator, author and lecturer and has authored
numerous professional articles, as well as a widely used textbook,
Periodontal and Prosthetic Management of the Advanced Case.
Dr. Rosenberg is the Program Director of the NSU College of Dental
Medicine’s distance education program, Online Implantology,
and he founded and chaired the Periodontal-Prosthetic Section of
the Atlantic Coast Dental Research Clinic. He has also served as
president of the Florida Society of Periodontists and is a past
Director of the American Academy of Periodontology. During the past
five years, Dr. Rosenberg has served as an advisor to DenX in its
development of computer-assisted
technology for implant dentistry.

Robert
L. Holt, D.M.D., Ph.D.
After completing a B.A. from Washington and Lee University in Lexington,
Virginia, Dr. Holt earned his D.M.D. from the University of Alabama
in Birmingham in 1971, finishing at the top of his class. He was
awarded a National Institutes of Health fellowship and earned a
Ph.D. in Microbiology and a Specialty in Periodontics.
Dr. Holt served in the U. S. Navy as Chief of Periodontics for
the 2nd Marine Division at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. Dr. Holt
is the former President of the Atlantic Coast Dental Research Clinic
and Co-Chairman of the Periodontal-Prosthetics Section and the Implantology
Section. He is a visiting Assistant Professor at Nova Southeastern
University's College of Dental Medicine and a Fellow of the American
College of Dentists. Dr. Holt is widely published and co-authored
the textbook Periodontal and Prosthetic Management of the Advanced
Case. He lectures extensively in the U. S. and in Europe and
has vast experience and expertise in periodontal-prosthetic management
of patients with complex problems. His special areas of interest
and treatment activity include bone and tissue regeneration, periodontal-prosthetics,
esthetics and dental implantology. Dr. Holt is a native of Florida.

Frederic
J. Norkin, D.M.D.
After receiving his B.A. from Emory University, Dr. Norkin earned
his D.M.D in 1997 from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine
in Boston, Massachusetts. He completed a General Practice Residency
at the Veterans Administration Medical Center, Miami, Florida. He
received extensive training in hospital and operating room dentistry,
as well as in the treatment and management of medically compromised
patients.
Subsequently, Dr. Norkin received a Certificate of Advanced Graduate
Study in Periodontology from Nova Southeastern University. He published
on dental implantology in the Journal of the Florida Dental Association
and is an Assistant Clinical Professor, Department of Periodontology
at Nova Southeastern University. Dr. Norkin’s affiliations
with professional dental societies includes active participation
in the American Academy of Periodontology and the Academy of Osseointegration.
His special areas of interest and treatment activity include bone
and tissue regeneration, periodontal-orthodontic inter-relationships,
esthetics, dental implantology and periodontal-prosthetics.

Mauricio
A. Gutierrez, D.M.D., M.S.
Dr. Gutierrez graduated with honors from Boston College in Chestnut
Hill, Massachusetts, where he received his Bachelor of Arts and
Sciences degree. He earned his D.M.D. degree in 1999 from the Temple
University School of Dentistry in Philadelphia, graduating in the
top 5 percent of his class. He received a clinical achievement award
and was elected to two academic honor societies during his tenure
at Temple University. Dr. Gutierrez received his Certificate in
Periodontics and a Master of Science degree in Biomedical Sciences
at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio,
Texas, where he was also an Assistant Clinical Professor in the
Department of Periodontics.
Dr. Gutierrez is active in professional dental societies including
the American Academy of Periodontology and the Academy of Osseointegration.
His areas of primary interest and treatment within his specialty
of periodontics include dental implants, cosmetic periodontics,
bone and tissue regeneration and grafting. Born in Costa Rica, and
raised in Miami, Dr. Gutierrez is fluent in English, Spanish, French
and Italian.

Dr.
Samuel Zfaz
Dr. Zfaz is originally from Mexico City, there he earned his D.D.S.
degree in 1998 from Universidad Tecnológica de Mexico, where
he graduated number one in his class. In 2000 he completed a residency
program in Advanced General Dentistry at Boston University.
He then received his Certificate in Periodontology from Nova Southeastern
University, where he met Drs. Rosenberg, Ganeles and Norkin.
Thereafter Dr. Zfaz completed a one-year Fellowship in Prosthodontics
where he focused on the interactions of complex periodontal-restorative
implant cases. Dr. Zfaz became licensed to practice dentistry in
the state of Florida in 2004 and has limited his practice to Periodontics.
He was associate professor in the Department of Periodontics at
Nova Southeaster University for 2 years and joined the Florida Institute
for Periodontics and Dental Implants in October of 2004. He is Board
Eligible by the American Academy of Periodontology.
His active participation in professional dental societies includes
the American Academy of Periodontology, the Academy of Osseointegration
and he is a member of the International Team for Implantology (ITI).
Dr. Zfaz’s areas of interest and treatment include dental
implants, periodontal esthetics, and periodontal support for complex
periodontal-restorative cases. He is fluent in English, Spanish
and Hebrew.

Linda
Reichman, R.D.H.
Linda is the Executive Director of Professional Services for Dr. Jeffrey Ganeles, at the Florida Institute for Periodontics and Dental
Implants. In this capacity, she combines her natural sensitivity
for people with her ability to present complex treatment plans in
simple, understandable and agreeable language for patients.
During her years as a practicing dental hygienist, Linda acquired
a thorough understanding of the technical aspects of implant, cosmetic,
and restorative dentistry. Equally important, she developed exceptional
interpersonal and communication skills. These enable her and her
patients to talk frankly and honestly together. Her patients feel
comfortable discussing all aspects of their dental condition, including
its impact on their lives.
As the daughter, granddaughter, and niece of general dentists and
oral maxillofacial surgeons, Linda’s dental career began long
before she became a clinical dental hygienist. She practiced as
a hygienist for over 15 years in different general and specialty
dental practices.
Linda teaches the organizational, psychological and technical aspects
of the DPS (treatment coordinator) position to others and implements
the model into other practices.
She is a co-founder and a Director of P.R.I.M.E.,
(Periodontal, Restorative, Implant Methods for Excellence), a local
study club sponsored by the Institute that focuses on comprehensive
interdisciplinary treatment planning. Her sales experience includes
serving as regional sales representative for a major implant company.
She is the co-author of a dental hygiene manual in use by a national
dental implant company and lectures on the subject of “Implants
and Dental Hygiene”.
