Linda,
Hey, I made it home with a few delays.
Just a short note of thanks to you and Dr. G., words are never
enough to say it adequately how wonderful I think your are. The
staff the warmth and the many hugs and kisses from everyone made
me feel like apart of the Teeth Today family. I am truly grateful
to Dr. G. for taking his time and the time of his staff to do this.
I realize that he does not have to do this for me. I am sure that
there are many more things that he could be spending his time and
the time of his staff on. Thanks a million and a million more thanks
from my heart. I can never repay your kindness to me. Thank you.
Please let Wendy and the staff know that there kindness did not
go unnoticed. I appreciate every thing you and Dr. G have done for
me. I will always hold you both dear in my heart.
Hey, I even got a chance to see Laurie on my way out, got a chance
to chit chat for a moment. Dreams and prayers do come true when
you meet people like you and Dr. G.
Thank you again for sharing your friend with me. Ellen is so sweet
and so funny, I enjoyed her kindness towards me and her opening
up her home to me. Please thank her for me. I hope she won't mine
me calling her friend. True friends are few and far between and
I can see that she is your true friend. Thanks for sharing her with
me.
I hope to get back as soon as possible. The teeth are great, Sean
Puffy Combs has nothing on me with the bling bling, my teeth are
so white people are taking a double take. Lots of compliments but
I think I will ask Dr. G to tone down my permanent ones just a bit
the Hollywood smile is good but Tennessee is a far cry from the
bright lights in Los Angeles. "Hollywood".
Thanks again, please let me know when my teeth come in and I will
try to get there as soon as possible.
Love ya Always Gina

Thanks for the smile
Dear Linda, Dr. Ganeles and all the other wonderful Dr's, nurses
and Staff,
When I injured my back in 1998. My whole world turned upside down.
I was used to working an average of 75 hours a week for 18 years.
You can count the days I missed work on one hand. Not to mention
all the work I was doing around the house. At one time I had the
best looking yard on the block. Not any more. I can hardly walk
let alone do anything else. I am telling you this so you might be
able to understand how depressed things have become. Just when I
thought that things can't get any worse. BAM! My teeth started rotting
out. Due to all the medication I have to take. That was the worst
possible thing that could happen. Through all the tests and procedures
I went through I still tried to keep my sense of humor. But who
can laugh when your teeth are being pulled out at the rate of one
a month. When my front tooth went I didn't leave the house. Except
for Dr's appointments and even then I covered my mouth with my hand
when speaking. I
stopped all social contact. I was embarrassed.
Then I came to see you. From the time I walked into your office.
I was treated so wonderful from EVERYONE! Believe me, after all
the Workman's Comp Dr's I have dealt with, I felt like I was in
a dream. You and everyone else treated me like I was a real person
and you really cared. After Dr. Ganeles finished and I looked in
the mirror, I couldn't believe what I saw. I asked to use the bathroom
only because I didn't want anyone to see me cry. I was so happy!
I thought that there wouldn't be any teeth yet. I was under the
impression that I would have to wait until my gums healed. But instead.
I had the whitest teeth I had ever seen. ( Except on a movie star
) I can't thank
you all enough! There isn't a word for it. Thanks, just does not
cover it.
I had to come back to have two implants replaced because they did
not take. Dr. Ganeles was very unhappy. I thought I might have said
something to make him mad at me. But I realize now, he does not
like failure. But with my mouth as bad as it is, it was bound to
happen. I was not upset to go though it again. He was so gentle.
I could have gone to sleep. Ha
I didn't mean to go on and on. I just wanted to thank one and all
for there professional service. There kindness and making me feel
comfortable. I have, and will continue to refer the Florida Institute
for Periodontics & Dental Implants to everyone who tells me
what lovely teeth I have.
Thanks again for giving me my smile back,
Yours truly,
Jerry Haught

Dear Dr. Ganeles:
We both wanted to drop a note to express our satisfaction and yes,
gratitude for the caring and professional way you all took care
of John with his procedure. He is doing great! Admittingly, we were
both a little nervous before, but just as we were told, it was piece
of cake afterwards! It is amazing to us that one can have one's
full mouth of teeth pulled and implants placed with NO PAIN! John
took a few Advils the day after - just in case! Please accept our
heartfelt thanks to you, Linda, and all the staff!
We just can't say thank you enough,
John and Linda S.

Dear Dr. Ganeles,
I can't thank you enough for the excellent dental services you
performed on me on April 17, 2002. I had no pain during the four
hour procedure for all of my extractions and the six implants!
Post operatively it was a little sore but I only had to take one
Tylenol! (6 hours later). The swelling of my upper lip was normal
because of the blood thinners I take daily- I must confess I was
a bit lax in keeping an ice bag on the area as you suggested.
Your pre and postoperative directions were simple and direct. I
especially enjoyed the "la-la" pill you prescribed, which
surprising and happily relieved all my pre-operative apprehension.
I had no systemic reaction, your antibiotic prescription did the
job. I must confess I was a little apprehensive days before but
should have known better because of the very successful implants
(11 in total) you inserted for my wife and I in 1999. They have
been symptomless, better than our original troublesome teeth and
gums!
After my dental practice of 45 years (3 in the US Army as an oral
surgeon) I must say you are a talented expert with a great technique.
Your staff gave me tender loving care and the temporary teeth you
produced by the NEXT DAY are beautiful and comfortable. Many thanks
for a great service- may you stay in excellent health so others
might benefit from your expertise.
Appreciatively and sincerely,
Dr. Jack (Retired Dentist)

To Whom It May Concern:
Several weeks ago one of the most awesome, unbelievable experiences
happened to me, and it is too good to keep to myself.
In a nutshell, a few weeks prior to the "event" my menu
consisted of mashed potatoes, applesauce, soft vegetables, fish
- anything that could be mashed in the mouth due to exceeding soreness
of gums, all because 4 implants done in 1990 had become mobile thus
causing what could be termed "toothaches". Upon discussing
the situation with Dr. Jeffrey Ganeles I came away greatly encouraged
but finding his means of solving the problem "too good to be
true" but there was no alternative. In ONE sitting, 4 defective
implants were removed and 6 new ones installed with absolutely NO
PAIN whatever. After a good night's sleep - with NO bleeding I might
add - a trip to my dentist supplied a temporary (but permanent for
6 months while implants healed) denture put in place, after which
I ate - with absolute comfort - the first meal of solid food I had
had for weeks! In 3 days I went from hell to heaven and have been
living in heaven ever since.
Dr. Ganeles is a genius - and a very nice, kind and compassionate
doctor as well. I hesitate not one whit to recommend him with a
triple AAA rating.
To add another note important to making the entire event pleasant
- yes I MEAN pleasant - were the geniality, consideration and kindness
of the entire staff.
This experience was too good, but it was true!
In All Sincerity,
Dorothy

"I had a partial and it wobbled a little bit. It was uncomfortable.
I had been putting this off because I didn't want to go through
the time and the effort.
"(The doctors) kept saying to me they're going to pull the
bottom teeth and put the implants right in. And then they're going
to put the temporary caps in. I was amazed. I didn't see how it
could be done. But they said it could and they could.
"As far as I'm concerned, I felt no discomfort; none whatsoever.
I really do not remember the procedure at all. I don't remember
him pulling the teeth. I don't remember him pulling off my caps.
I did not feel one ounce of pain. And I have to tell you I have
a very low threshold for pain.
"The next day I came back and they put in the temporary. I
drove myself the next day. I came alone.
"This procedure has changed my life. I'm smiling a lot. I'm
really not afraid to eat foods.
"I think it's a fantastic procedure. I really do."

Dear Dr. Ganeles
It has now been nine weeks since I have had my dental implants
done, and a simple thank you seems totally inadequate for what you
did. I could not be more pleased with the results.
About 18 months ago, my dentist told me that I had to make a decision
regarding my teeth. He told me that I basically had two options.
First, I could have dentures or I could consider having dental implants.
He described the implant process as having my upper teeth removed,
having the implants placed and then having a set of dentures made
that I would use while the implants healed for the next six months.
Once this was complete, I would have to have the same procedure
followed for my lower teeth.
I can assure you that this did not sound at all appealing to me.
As a result, I put the decision off as long as I could.
Then, earlier this year, I was reading The Boca Raton Magazine
and saw your ad. I went to your website to further investigate the
procedure that you use. I also searched the web for more information
on dental implants and with great apprehension about having this
done at all, I called your office, talked to Linda, and decided
to make an appointment to further explore your procedure. I had
babied my teeth as long as I could and the time for a decision had
come.
After that initial appointment, I decided that your procedure was
exactly what I was looking for and made the appointment to have
my entire mouth done at one time. This included extractions, implants
and teeth within a day. I was told that the procedure would not
be painful with the medication I would be given prior to the appointment,
and while I may have some discomfort, that I would be back to normal
the next day. Knowing what I was about to experience, I must tell
you I had some doubt if all this would be true.
I had the implants done on a Wednesday, and as I had been told,
I had no pain during the appointment. After a long day, I went home,
took a nap, got up and had a light meal. While I had some discomfort,
I had no pain. I took some ibuprofen and went to bed and slept the
night.
The next day, I re visited your office to get my new set of teeth.
The procedure again was painless, and the teeth looked great. As
a matter of fact, when my wife first saw them, she said, "Wow,
they are beautiful."
On Friday, I attended the board meeting of a university where I
am a trustee. On Saturday, I not only attended the graduation, but
also presented an award before 2500 people. No one even knew what
I had done during the week, but I was so pleased with my new teeth,
I had to tell some close friends. They could not believe what I
told them.
While over the next week, there was some discomfort, I never took
any medication other than ibuprofen.
In my research, I had found that implants had a success rate of
80 85%. During our meetings, you had assured me that your success
rate was a lot higher than that, and you suggested with what I was
having done, the success rate would be 98 100%. During my last visit,
you found that all 14 implants had taken and the 100% rate was achieved.
It is great to be able to eat anything that I want once again, without
any pain.
If I have one regret in having this done, it would be that I didn't
have it done 18 months sooner and avoid the discomfort that I lived
with during that time.
So again, my thanks to you for a job well done. Also, please pass
on my thanks to Linda for her kindness and to Joey for her assistance
during the entire procedure. You have a great staff and a great
procedure that delivers great results. I would not hesitate to do
it again and would highly recommend it to any of your patients.
Sincerely,
John H.

Dear Dr. Ganeles,
You are to be commended for having such an incredibly sensitive
staff in your employ. I feel the urge to state a litany of names
which include all of the people who have been so kind to me. However,
I would feel quite badly if I didn't mention each and every single
person in your office who has redefined the meaning of caring. Good
judgment tells me that you already know in your heart how blessed
you are to have such a support system.
On a more personal level, I want to thank you most sincerely for
being so generous with me over the years. Aside from the numerous
procedures you have done to help me avoid becoming a toothless wonder,
you have shown me consideration above and beyond the call of duty.
Do you remember when I came into your office one late Friday afternoon
with an abscess on my gum and you didn't charge me for your valuable
time? I do. I know that you were ready to begin your weekend but
you waited for me. You feigned being thrilled to see such a `lovely
little' abscess. You made me laugh prior to, during and after you
performed your magic. As a result, I had a weekend without pain.
Your quick wit also once threatened to have me leave your office
with a black tooth for Halloween and made me laugh, again.
Then there was the time my front tooth bent forward and I looked
like Bucky Beaver. (I think I'm dating myself with that analogy.)
At your suggestion, the best receptionist in the whole wide world
referred me to Dr. Laurie. You appeared while I was in Dr. Laurie's
waiting room. Before I could blink an eye, you and Dr. Laurie were
both examining how ridiculous I looked. I know unequivocally that
you took precious time out of your busy schedule to personally introduce
me to Dr. Laurie and preflight him about my plight.
Now, I suppose it's time to get to the heart of the matter. It
was at Nancy's compassionate suggestion that I speak with Linda
regarding my most recent forthcoming periodontal procedures. When
I came to your office to pick up my x rays, several wide-eyed genuinely
concerned individuals in the front office offered gentle caveats
about seeking another periodontist. Ugh... now I am alluding to
names and fessing up to the truth. At any rate, Linda was so unbelievably
kind. I made her take a solemn oath that she wouldn't tell you my
fee was being reduced. I would never have asked you to do so. However
in retrospect, I shouldn't have pleaded with her to be so duplicitous.
In reality, I highly doubt that I am breaking a confidence with
her or that you didn't have some hand in orchestrating this scenario.
I venture to guess that others had a part in it as well. Brain dead,
I'm not... yet.
Consequently, guilt has become my most recent companion. I am fully
aware of the massive overhead you must have in your office. Your
present `state of the art' technology would not be so embedded into
your practice if you didn't have such a staunch commitment to excellence.
That commitment has benefited me because my teeth are somewhat in
tack, in spite of my deplorable habit and inferior dentistry prior
to coming to your office. Although I deeply appreciate the compensation
you have given me, I am concerned that in some way you are absorbing
the cost of my procedures. I hope that is not the case. All of us
have varying degrees of financial obligations, including you. I
sincerely hope that someday I will be provided with the opportunity
to repay your kindness.
Thank you so very much, Dr. Ganeles. I appreciate you and your
staff more than you will ever know.
Sincerely,
Leah
